The eCandidus™ Desktop uses Google™ Code to perform translations. There are two basic options to produce translations. Web The web based translation take selected code from any text field and sends it to the Google™ Translate services. This option is used when you want to translate text, but not change the text in the field. To use this option simple select the text:
And the select the appropriate translation from the Edit menu:
The translation will be shown as a web page:
Inline The inline services are similar to the web based services, except that you are limited to two translation types. These are set using the System:Settings Translation. To use this option, select the text just like you would in the web option, and then select the translation from the menu:
The translator then replaces the text:
Note that you can use the keyboard shortcuts instead of the menu. |
